It?s not too late to book a bargain summer holiday in Cornwall this year: a farmstay holiday company are offering a 20% last minute discount on all holidays throughout July and August.

Set in the heart of the Cornish countryside near Rock and Polzeath, north Cornwall, The Olde House offers over 30 self-catering holiday cottages. There are still cottages available during the summer holiday period, perfect for a family getaway.

Owner Andrew Hawkey, whose family have been farming at Chapel Amble for three generations, said: ?The UK has suffered the wettest June on record and it has had an effect on our bookings, so unusually we still have some availability for the school holidays.

?Cornwall hasn?t been as badly affected by the wet weather as many parts of the country, and we?re looking forward to a period of more settled summer sunshine for our guests to enjoy the beautiful beaches on our doorstep.?

Whatever the weather, The Olde House has something for the whole family to enjoy. Guests are free to explore the farm?s wildlife, feed the animals in pets? corner, relax in the heated swimming pool and spa bath, or enjoy a game of tennis on the outdoor courts.

Located in the picturesque village of Chapel Amble next to the Maltsters Arms pub, the farm is just a short drive from the Eden Project and the sandy shores of the north coast. Guests can enjoy discounted surf lessons at Polzeath beach or coasteering and kayaking sessions in Port Isaac.

All of the self-catering cottages are dog-friendly and provide free wi-fi.

Clover Cottage

Clover Cottage is ideal for small families, sleeping up to four people in two bedrooms. The cottage is a short walk from the swimming pool and other facilities. Prices start from ?39 per person per night, with a 20% reduction for July and August.
