Major League baseball announced Friday the average player's salary has now risten to $3.2 million per season. That's a 3.8 per cent rise from a year ago and is the largest inicrease since 2007. The minimum salary has climbed to $480,000 per player from $440,000 a year ago which helped in part fuel the increase.
