A College Linebacker Gets Arrested For Barking at a Police Dog

The NFL had more than its fair share of legal issues this offseason (not that there is really such a thing as a "fair share" with these issues, but we digress). This time we get another one, but at the collge football level.

Florida linebacker?Antonio Morrison?got arrested last night for barking at a police dog. Yes, that's actually against Floridian law:

Any person who intentionally or knowingly maliciously harasses, teases, interferes with, or attempts to interfere with a police dog, fire dog, SAR dog, or police horse while the animal is in the performance of its duties commits a misdemeanor of the second degree...

Nick De La Torre's (writer for Gator Country, a site dedicated to Gator sports coverage)?account makes it seem like Morrison got arrested for being a stubborn jerk:

Basically, the gist of the story is you don't want to bark at a police dog, or any dog for that matter because?come on?why would you want to?
